I was born in Iran and moved to the US when I was two years old. I spent my early childhood in Pittsburgh and my adolescent years in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Upon graduating from Oberlin College, I earned my Master's of Health Administration Degree from The Ohio State University. I have held a variety of leadership roles at three outstanding health care institutions. Two of my more notable roles were as Chief Operating Officer at Ohio State and President at OhioHealth. I am proud of the teams that we built during my time in these two roles and the growth and expansion of services that we provided to our communities. In 2024, I decided to close the chapter on my healthcare career spanning 25+ years and embark on my new journey as a leadership and executive coach.
I would introduce the concepts of leadership, founder and executive coaching and drive home the important role coaching plays in the start up world. All founders come to realize that the parts of themselves that allow for creativity, innovation and drive are not the same parts that govern the leadership of an organization from idea to reality. That's where leadership coaching can be a game changer. I will use case studies to help provide examples as well.
